A pat on the back

.......is exactly what I should give myself after doing Shoulder Track last nite without any pause or break in between. 3rd time in the last 4 Pump class. Woohoo! 3rd time is the charm! (Keeping my fingers' crossed). In my book, that is an achievement. Once upon a time, I told myself that if I ever accomplish this, I can stop going for Body Pump already (cos mission accomplished!). I think I under estimated myself. Pump is too addictive...I don't think I can ever quit....unless I quit the gym first. Minimise the number of classes, maybe.

FPI was having problems remembering her choreo last nite...quite a number of mistakes. Very unlike her. The good thing is, she up her weight again, instead of matching what I carry or worse, carry less than me. I like FPI when she carried 10kg/side for Squat...not 7.5kg...I carry 8.5kg. Hehe. For the 2nd time in a row, I have problems following the instructor's count. On Sat, I thought Isaiah was fast but now I'm thinking maybe it was me not able to catch up. I sure had some difficulty last nite. Strange....

Gonna catch "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" later after work with Adrienne. Harrison Ford at 67 years old.....wow! Too bad Yanti can't join us.

I just feel like writing something....

The weekend that I was so looking forward to is now over. Not a very productive weekend. Went for usual classes on Saturday. Felt that Isaiah's Pump class was a little too fast...I had trouble keeping up with the count for Squat and Lunges. On a good note, I did not pause at all during the Shoulder Track (my weakest usually). Woohoo! This is the 2nd time already this month....so perhaps my shoulder is getting stronger, no?? Too early to say....

Dropped in to the gym on Sunday as well, even though Mr.Yoga wasn't around to conduct his Sunday classes. Decided to do Combat with Rahayu but she was M.I.A and the class was replaced by Jon Low, surprisingly. Anyway, it was a good class. Hung around for Body Jam and was pleasantly surprised to see a good turnout, considering that the gym was eerily quiet an hour before the class started. Sometimes I wonder where do all these members suddenly come from. Nonetheless, I was very glad to see them. No yumcha with usual suspects this week cos everyone wasn't around.

I did not have a good sleep last nite because I was having too many dreams. I woke up after each dream. I hope no more dreams tonite. Kacau saja....

Still feeling pissed with what happened to my car last week. Try not to look at that part of my car cos everytime I do, I feel very kek sim. Pity my car though, not its fault...sigh!

Work is piling up but within control. Work is work...it pays my bills. Gym keeps me sane. How long can I keep with up current lifestyle situation, I really dunno. I'm still searching for some missing pieces...

What goes around will comes around eventually

I am a believer of karma. I always have. I believe if you do wrong to others, one day you will be punished. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. Some day. It may not happen to you...but it may happen to your spouse, parents, kids, grandkids, etc...but it will happen. So, to people who do wrong now, don't think that you can get away with your actions. Life is good to you today but don't be so sure life will treat you the same tomorrow. I may not be very religious but I greatly believe God is fair, regardless of what God you worships.

If you do good to others, one day you will be rewarded. Or perhaps, not you. Maybe your spouse or kids or grandkids will benefit from your good deeds.

Someone banged into my car 2 days ago, a young couple. I wanted to lodge a police report but they wanted to settle outside. Her uncle make arrangement to meet me today but changed his mind later about settling my car repair. In fact, he was rude and now refused to meet. He has the traits of a conman. Told me earlier he was staying in PJ but today said he's staying in Kepong. Said he cannot make the 10am appt because he was in Cheras but when I called, he sounded like he was still in bed. So, what can I do? I can't do nothing. I can't lodge a police report because it's past the 24 hours limit. If I lodge a report now, I have to pay a RM1k court fine, that's what the traffic policeman told me. So, yes, the culprits got away with it.

To the owner and so-called 'uncle' of PEX 5716, you can smile and be happy that you knocked into somebody and got away with it. Today is your day. There's no doubt about it...but don't be so sure life will be a happy and smooth one for you sometime down the road. You know why?

Because I believe in karma!

I'm sorry...Rants ahead

Please excuse me while I do a bit of rantings....

I hate stupid people. I hate people who have no common sense. If I'm one of these people, then technically speaking, I should hate myself too.

I hate it when people do not know how to lower the volume when they are watching videos on YouTube or listening to MP3 songs in the office. I hate it when people sing loudly in the office. This is not a karaoke centre, ok!

I hate it when office mails are down so frequently.

I hate it when people take credit for something that others work on. Kanasai!

I hate it when my notebook is running at a snail's pace. I hate it when my notebook hangs.

I hate it when drivers on the road step on the brake when there are no cars in front of them.

I hate it when some people behave like a DIVA at work.

I hate it when gym members hog the bench at the women locker room and has no eyes to see that others may need to use the bench. Stupid!

Oh, I sent an email today to a group of technical people from a supplier company asking them to fill in some information that is required for a tender submission. One of them replied, saying that he will refer me to their Bid Manager to assist me. WTF! Didn't you even open the attachment that I sent? Why do you need to refer me to your BM when all I'm asking are info such as your IC number, your date of employment and the year of the projects that you worked on. Information that YOU should know, idiot! Stupid people!

Note to self: Remember to keep some chocolates in the office and in my gym bag, for days when people with no common sense get on my nerves. Chocolate, which releases serotonin, can calm a person's mood...in case you didn't know that.

Releasing some thoughts from my head

Something's just not right with my appetite these days. I seem to get hungry more. I'm always eating or nibbling or munching something. I had double lunch yesterday, believe it or not. Smaller portions of food but more frequent eating....with the exception to yesterday's lunch, of course. As skinny as I am, I'm not doing justice to my tummy...or more rightly, my existing spare tyre.

I sacrificed a gym class on sunday to attend another class that failed to materialise due to the instructor's ipod failure. Surprisingly, I didn't seem to mind, even though I basically wasted my afternoon going to gym but didn't break a single drop of sweat. Maybe I was overly sensitive but I felt a certain vibe that somebody was "sort of unhappy" that I was absent from the class...judging from the body language la. Perhaps I was just imagining things....

Work is piling up but well under control. The probability of coming to work on Wesak Day is very high. Thank God it will only be half day. A lot of politiking still ongoing but thanks to my rooster, I'm not that affected...ahaks. I just listen only.......ok, that's not true, I kepochi once a while...I can't help it...ahaks.

Went to Popular bookstore 2 days ago and to my horror, the book that I was eye-ing a week ago, The Human Body was no longer there. *cry cry* Couldn't believe my eyes...I took a good 10 mins to scan the shelf in case I overlooked it. Nope...no more there... damn! Super duper disappointed. Real bummer.

Tea time....yahoo! and back to work...sucks!

Wicked!

It took me a blardy 40 mins to find a damn parking space yesterday, thanks to the Jusco Members Sale Day...and to think that I left office 1/2 hour early yesterday, reached the mall 45 mins early.....only to find myself arriving at the gym 10 mins before Pump started. Thanks to Jusco, no less.

Wore my new nike dri-fit top. Love it but it felt kinda warm. Maybe first time wearing is like that?? Decided that it is not that suitable for yoga. The top fits me nicely but it doesn't hug the body tightly. Out....

Mr. Yoga chose yesterday, after many weeks of absence, to do chaturangas....
tough ones, no less. First there was the standard chaturanga. Then it was chaturanga to upward dog. Then it was chaturanga to single leg downward dog. Simply wicked. Doing all this after finishing a Body Pump class. Yesterday's yoga class saw a record low in attendance.....a total of only 8 members. Blame Jusco Members Sale.

We also did head stand yesterday. Of course, I can only do this with the help of a wall. Maybe it's time to start practising more on this. I had no idea what I did right yesterday but Mr. Yoga said I almost got it right, except I couldn't control my movement when my legs are above my head. Blame it on my abs....see, I told you I need to lose those spare tyres.

Slept so soundly last nite. Woke up to a refreshing body this morning. Such a great way to usher in the weekend.......well, we are still at Friday but TGIF nonetheless!

It's Wednesday!

...and that can only mean one thing...... Body Combat!

Well, to be fair, everyday is Combat day at the gym but Wednesday is MY Combat day.....muahaha! So is Saturday actually.....but I'm more excited on a Wednesday because it's mid work week. The right medication to release any build up stress (and I don't mean stress from work alone).

If I have my way, I make Monday and Friday my Combat days too but let's not get too carried away here.

On other note, I made some investment decision this morning that will hopefully make me a billionaire richer when I retired......ahaks.

My nail polish is slowly chipping off. What a waste of money....spent RM28 on manicure that lasted only a week, at most. On top of this, I now have to get myself a bottle of nail varnish remover...waste money again...but my nails are nicely filed now though.....so yeah! (like as if I cannot do this myself la...). Note to self: No more going for manicures........unless I'm going on a very important date....haha!

Back to reading

MPH Warehouse Sales was on from 30th April - 5th May over in MBPJ Sports Complex. Decided to pop in on Sat with an office mate. My target of books? Anything on health, marketing or complete human anatomy. I'm way past reading novels, which were plenty at the sale. After 2 hours of searching, I finally ended up with ...

Both books cost me about RM72. Not exactly bargain buys for a warehouse sale, IMO but to be fair, "The Complete Home Wellness Handbook" is about 10cm thick + hardcover too, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I'm eye-ing a book titled "The Human Body" (complete details on the human anatomy) which I saw at Popular. No idea on the price cos the book was way way up high on the shelf and I didn't see any shop assistants around. Am searching for similar title at MPH cos I still have a RM10 voucher, courtesy of brother, which expired in mid May.

Let the hunt begin....
