A month in UK

It's been 3 weeks since my arrival in Egham, Surrey for my one month's work stint. I figured I better start jotting down details before my memory fails me.

Arrived at London Hathrow Airport on an early Sunday morning.  The company had arranged for a cab to pick me up, thank god.  Egham was just 15-20 mins away from the airport.  I had to stop by the office HQ to pick up the keys to my place of stay, The Old Caol Yard serviced apartment.  The apt unit wasn't easy to locate, prolly cos I didn't realise that number 11 on the envelope meant my unit number...go figure!

Anyway, with the help of the kind cab driver, I finally found it.  The place was seriously big for me alone.

The living room and small dining room.

Upstairs bathroom - HUGE! I should pamper myself in here more.

Egham is a small town in Surrey, south east of England. The biggest shop here is probably Tesco Express.  This is my hang out place on evenings when I just didn't feel like going home straight from work.  Pathetic...that's for sure.  My office is roughly about 15 mins walk from the apartment, which isn't too bad. It is nice to walk in the cold actually.  More reports soon....
