Learn some email & text etiquette
Then there are some that like to use exclamation mark even in simple replies such as Thank You or OK. Seriously??? That's like telling people you are saying thank you for the sake of saying those words.
Thank You is a word used for showing gratitude. It doesn't have to be accompanied by an exclamation mark. Surely you don't verbally thank someone with a sarcastic tone. That is exactly how an exclamation mark sounds like in emails, you dork stupid people. That is just pure rudeness.
For God's sake, learn some proper manners when texting or sending emails.

Loyal customer? What's that?
When I went to collect my clothes today, no one in the shop could remember my items. To be honest, I myself couldn't remember either what clothing stuff I had sent it, with the exception of a sports bra which needed the elastic band replaced. So, I brought that up, thinking that surely they can easily recall handling a sports bra. I mean, c'mon on, what are the odds of others sending in sports bra for fixing in the past 1 month rite? Surely this would have jolted their memories.
After some good minutes trying to explain, I still drew blank faces from the lady owner and her assistant. I was getting slightly pissed. The lady owner did not offer to search for my items, prefering to sit, and she had this look on her face, as if to say "I don't know if we can even find your stuff".
Finally the assistant was able to retrieve the plastic bag which had my clothes, and trust me, it was a different plastic bag from the one I had initially used, which means they had opened the bag and took out my clothes. This means they knew that the clothes needed to be fixed. However, as the assistant took out the clothes, it was clear that nothing was done. I was pissed but tried to keep my cool. I coolly reminded them that I had sent those in 3 weeks ago. The assistant's response? "We forgot". Hey, you fool, that is not an exceptable explanation ok!. The lady owner had that same look as earlier, which pissed me off even more. There was no apology from either one of them.
I said never mind, give me my stuff back. Seeing my angered looks, the assistant gave me the "what's the big deal" look, then said they will fix the clothes by Monday. When I declined, he had the audacity to say "why? angry issit?". Needless to say, at that point, I was boiling in anger. I snatched my stuff from his hand and stormed out of the store. Still no apology!
Trust me, I will never return. Is this how you treat a regular customer to your shop, idiots!

I didn't wanna do this again but I need an outlet to vent...
As a result, now I have to scramble to get that work done (again, I repeat, cleaning up the idiot's shit) due to its dateline submission, and not only that, there are other parties involved (eg. bank) to get some documents drawn up and with just 2 days to go, I really don't know how well the bank is willing to liaise with us, if at all.
If it is up to me, I would have given this idiot a 10x slap across the face before she stepped out of this office for the final time. I have harbour hatred for some people across my lifetime but never before have I hated somebody this much.

My personal review of a netbook

How's this for absurdity?
- Spending 4x the allocated budget for office renovation.
- Approving bringing an entourage of customers to neighbouring country to play golf. (no golf course in our own country? Our golf course not good enough?)
- Approving of overseas "incentive" trip before project payment is received nor project even completed yet.
StealingTaking company advance worth thousands of dollars without repaying.StealingUsing company cash to give as sponsored gift and undertable $ to so-called potential customers (or does it end up in own pocket?).- Hiring a secretary under company payroll who is not even doing company work.
- and the list goes on and on.........

I have to get this off my chest.
Since when is it alright to let go of your responsibility and assume others will shoulder that responsibility for you?
Since when is it alright to get somebody to do the work for you while you sit back and wait for the result?
Since when is it alright to assume somebody is always on standby and free to do what you want them to do?
Since when is it alright to assume that somebody will bail you out when you yourself are not even trying hard to help yourself?
Since when is it alright to keep silence while others have to pick up the slack for you?
Since when is it alright to let others be punished because they have put their trusts on your words?
Since when is it alright to pretend everything is ok while the other person is silently suffering because of your action?
Since when is it alright to conveniently forget about your responsibility?
We all have our own responsibilities, we all have financial difficulties to a certain degree, we all have our own commitments regardless whether single or married, we all have our own sets of problems, we have our own stress, etc etc. Just because we don't talk about that openly does not mean that our lives are smooth sailing. That does not give you the right to shove aside your responsibility and expect someone else to pick it up for you. We all have enough stress of our own in our lives everyday....we don't need to be burdened by your stress too. You need to understand that person's predicament before you dish out any selfish remarks or actions.
It is especially difficult when a family member, a spouse or a close friend is being put into such predicament by your irresponsible attitude. When is it enough? Does somebody need to cut off relationship or distanced themselves away from you in order for you to realise that your actions are not desirable?
It is one thing to have people trust you enough to want to help you but when you FAIL to return that trust or when you abuse that trust, it is only a matter of time when that trust will forever be lost. Once you lost that trust, people will never look at you the same way, even if they can forgive you at some point in their lives.

What now?
This is getting ridiculous. News that bring disatisfaction. News that demotivates me. I try not to let these get into my head but it is so hard to ignore them. How much more can I take mentally? How much longer before I can exit? How much further do I have to walk before I see the light at the end of the tunnel?
Now that I no longer have yoga to turn to seek calmness, where else do I turn to then?

Waiting for good things to happen
I still don't like nor trust the person who owed me money even though this person finally told me I will be paid end of the month. Why wait so long to pay? In the meanwhile, the cc company continuously charge me interest rate. Can't blame them, so blame the fler, who in the name of work, I had trustfully allowed the transaction to be charged using my card. KNN!
On a happier note, my wish for one-on-one yumcha with a somebody finally materialised last week. So many opportunities wasted in the past and I wasn't about to let it happen again this time. I have to try, at the very least. Was very surprised that the conversations were effortless. Secretly I wish for more but anyhow, I value the friendship.
So, will anything good happen out of all these?

Still jam-ing in my head

What goes around will comes around eventually
If you do good to others, one day you will be rewarded. Or perhaps, not you. Maybe your spouse or kids or grandkids will benefit from your good deeds.

To the owner and so-called 'uncle' of PEX 5716, you can smile and be happy that you knocked into somebody and got away with it. Today is your day. There's no doubt about it...but don't be so sure life will be a happy and smooth one for you sometime down the road. You know why?
Because I believe in karma!

I'm sorry...Rants ahead
I hate stupid people. I hate people who have no common sense. If I'm one of these people, then technically speaking, I should hate myself too.
I hate it when people do not know how to lower the volume when they are watching videos on YouTube or listening to MP3 songs in the office. I hate it when people sing loudly in the office. This is not a karaoke centre, ok!
I hate it when office mails are down so frequently.
I hate it when people take credit for something that others work on. Kanasai!
I hate it when my notebook is running at a snail's pace. I hate it when my notebook hangs.
I hate it when drivers on the road step on the brake when there are no cars in front of them.
I hate it when some people behave like a DIVA at work.
I hate it when gym members hog the bench at the women locker room and has no eyes to see that others may need to use the bench. Stupid!
Oh, I sent an email today to a group of technical people from a supplier company asking them to fill in some information that is required for a tender submission. One of them replied, saying that he will refer me to their Bid Manager to assist me. WTF! Didn't you even open the attachment that I sent? Why do you need to refer me to your BM when all I'm asking are info such as your IC number, your date of employment and the year of the projects that you worked on. Information that YOU should know, idiot! Stupid people!
Note to self: Remember to keep some chocolates in the office and in my gym bag, for days when people with no common sense get on my nerves. Chocolate, which releases serotonin, can calm a person's mood...in case you didn't know that.

If I could turn back time..
The weekend was exactly what I needed to elevate my mood. There's nothing more effective than pumping some adrenaline into the body at the gym. Combat was pretty easy and to compensate for this, I think a lot of members put in 200% effort. Bravo! The conditioning track was a killer though. On my part, all I had to do to get me going was lining up the faces of those bastards in front of me when I did the punches, hooks, uppercuts, kicks. That felt good, really good. Wish I can do this on a daily basis. Looking forward to Wednesday.
Decided to skip Jam on Sunday since FJI was once again M.I.A. Bummer! Went for 2 hours of yumcha with Adrienne and Mr. Yoga instead. Got a sms from that somebody that afternoon. Can't say that I was surprise. Totally ignored it. I'm at peace with myself now.
The new office is like a blardy sauna, despite having 3 split airconds on. I think I should get my own standing fan. Can also use that to partially block the shelf that is having its sharp angle directed at me. Maybe that's why mood not so good in office hor.....feng shui no good. Sigh...
I wish it's the weekend all over again. I wish it's Friday today. For the first time in many years I wish for weekends to come quickly. That can only mean one thing.....

All it takes is one blardy cow to spoil my day...
Went yoga after Pump. Mr.Yoga had to make several corrections on my postures...4 to be exact. At this stage of my practice, I should have been able to do the asanas that we did last nite correctly. Oh well...
Went for Subway with Adrienne after gym. Ya....again. This time, went for Steak & Cheese. I think I have fulfilled my quota at this outlet for this month. I swear one of the workers there recognise me the moment I approached the counter. Paiseh...
I was pissed this morning at work. Hate it when somebody removed something from my cubicle and put it at his place, as if it was rightfully his. Somemore can claim it's his. Bastard! IF he does this again, he's gonna get it from me. He is one of 2 persons who have not lifted a finger when everyone else were helping out in the office relocation. I tolerated him long enuff. This is someone who lied to me several times in the past to get out of his work responsibilities. Blardy fcuking useless s.o.b.! Next time when I do Combat, I'm gonna imagine his face in front of me. Punch him kaw kaw. Blardy idiot! Dude...you can expect no cooperation from me in the future.
Ok, enuff of rants. Breath in.....breath out....
Looking forward to the weekend. Much needed one too.

Lack of professionalism
Thursday, August 16, 2007
Very unhappy about this.
My renewal is due this month...today, in fact. When I inquired with Company A what free gift will be given, I was told it's a magazine. WTF! So, I finally make the decision to change my auto insurance to Company B instead. Got my cert + road tax this morning from the Company B's agent. What free gift did I get? A stupid AAM membership! Kanasai! Hey I'm already an AAM member la.
