I think that gym and I just don't quite get along anymore these days, more so since my recent return. I'm still searching for that sparks of enjoyment and satisfaction that I used to get after attending each classes but sad to say, I don't feel it now. I don't think I'm bored with gym...at least not yet. I still love my programs to bits. I really can't explain why this is happening.
It also seems that my body isn't quite adapting back to the regular exercise regimen that I once religiously follow. What was once done effortlessly seem like a struggle right now. All my favorite instructors whom I once enjoy going for their classes seem so...well...just normal. Somehow, my favorite classes suddenly got no more feel. I think something's amiss if I begin to experience the below symptoms:
- I couldn't be bothered whether my techniques in class are correct or not, even if the instructor IS correcting me.
- I couldn't be bothered if I'm doing a technique wrong and the instructor's NOT correcting me.
- I couldn't be bothered anymore if my regular classes are conducted by replacement instructors instead of my favorite instructors.
- Sometimes I looked bored and perhaps a little out of focus in class. I looked even more bored before class....sigh!
- I seem to lack that killer "die die must go gym" attitude.
I will most probably be taking another week off next month. Let's just hope that I will be more enthusiastic when I return. I better be. Come to think of it....I think I'm taking way too many breaks from gym this year.

Take it easy and slowly work your way back into your regular schedule.
